In temperate climates, they are
evergreen, perennial shrubby plants
that produce abundant flowers from
spring to late summer. They can be as
long as 1.5m and diameter up to 1m.
Its branches grow upright upwards in
numerous twigs from under the ground.
It has smooth green-red mixture
variegated, lanceolate decorative leaves.
